Clamp in a single wire: press the trigger to open the clamp, and only clamp any one of the live wire (L) or neutral wire (N). If both the live and neutral wires are clamped at the same time, the magnetic fields they generate will cancel each other out, and the measurement result will approach zero, which is the most common operational error. 3. Reading values: Close the clamp, ensure that the wire is in the center position of the clamp, and then read the current value from the display screen. 4. Precautions: Keep your hands dry and do not touch the metal part of the clamp; When measuring, be careful to avoid other live wires to prevent interference. Special case: Most ordinary clamp meters can only measure AC current when measuring DC current. To measure DC current (such as in electric vehicles or battery circuits), a specialized clamp meter that supports DC current measurement function must be used, which typically uses Hall effect sensors.
